Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores limited data locally on your device to enhance your experience. This includes:

  • Words Viewed: The words you have seen in the App.
  • Timestamps: The dates and times when you viewed those words.

This data is stored solely on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and process certain information to serve personalized ads, including:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID on iOS).
  • IP address.
  • General location data (derived from your IP address).
  • Usage data related to ad interactions.

No Other Data Collection

Outside of the locally stored data and Google AdMob’s advertising functionality, the App does not access, collect, or use any personal or external information from your device, such as your contacts, photos, location, or other personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

Locally Stored Data

The data stored on your device (words viewed, timestamps, your requests to repeat or ignore words) is used exclusively to:

  • Track your progress within the App.
  • Provide you with a personalized study experience.

This data remains on your device and is not shared with us or any third parties.

Advertising

Google AdMob uses the information it collects to deliver relevant advertisements to you. We enable this feature to support the App’s development and keep it free for users.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, or disclose the locally stored data (words viewed, timestamps, your requests to repeat or ignore words) to any third parties, except in the following circumstances:

  • Google AdMob: As noted above, Google AdMob may collect and process other data not managed by us for advertising purposes. This is governed by Google’s own policies.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid request from a government authority.

4. Data Storage and Security

The data stored locally on your device (words viewed, timestamps, your requests to repeat or ignore words) remains there unless you uninstall the App or clear its data manually through your device settings. We do not store or back up this data on our servers.

We rely on Google AdMob’s security measures for any other data it collects for advertising purposes. We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Your Choices

  • Ad Personalization: You can limit personalized ads by adjusting your device’s advertising settings (e.g., opting out of personalized ads via your iOS settings under Privacy > Apple Advertising).
  • Local Data: You can delete the locally stored data by uninstalling the App or clearing its data through your device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible.
